The recycled materails were collected during several community cleanup events. These took place in Barpathar village, Basistha, Guwahati, India and were part of the pre-festival program of Dancing Rain creative festival 2018. During the festival, the object was installed at the primary school compound of Barpathar village, along with an illumination setup and a sign explaining the significance of plastic pollution to the contamination of water, wildilfe, and ultimately, our food.
